Avila Beach Marine Institute gets Web Cam

As part of the Avila Beach Marine Institute project Pacific Leisure will be installing a outdoor web cam. The cam will be mounted on a pole beneath the weather station. It will then be able to command some great views of Avila Beach, from the pier up to Port San Luis. The camera of choice was the Sony SNC-RX30n. This is a classic PTZ cam with a 25x optical zoom. Since it has a built-in web server the cam will posting live images onto the Marine Institutes web site.
